After 2 years of social distancing, the recurring SAP Basis event of Sabaas, SAP Basis on the move: Get ready for 2027, took place in 's-Hertogenbosch on June 15, 2022. Colleagues from all over the Netherlands came to Sabaas for an evening full of information, new insights, inspiring conversations and fun. The event was also streamed online, where (international) Basis colleagues joined the event as well.
Sabaas' own employees kicked off with a presentation about the current state of SAP Basis and the future that it awaits. Mitch van Dalfsen introduced himself as a new employee and the company he just started to work for. After that, Sander van Gemert and Marc Kip had a look at the new developments of SAP Basis. Neety Sharma and Neha Puthran eventually presented the demo SAP Infra as a Code.
After a short break with cold drinks and some delicious bites, it was AWS's turn. Stig Skaugvoll and Benjamin Houttuin gave their presentation about SAP on AWS: Move, Run, Optimize & Beyond. They covered some BIG examples, such as the US Navy and explained how SAP on AWS is exactly different.
